Blood Moon?

Since Blood Moon takes place primarily in New Orleans and since New Orleans has recently undergone some dramatic changes thanks to Katrina, I've put the writing of Blood Moon on the back burner for now. The storm and its aftermath were terrible and I mourn for the place and the people there. However, so much has been made of the destruction of New Orleans that I feel that many people have overlooked or undervalued the devastation that has overwhelmed the rest of the Gulf Coast. I spent some time doing research in the wonderful old home that is now (?) the President Jefferson Davis Library--I wonder if it is still there?

On a lighter note, I will be in Mountain Home, Arkansas November 12 from 10 until 2 smiling and signing copies of my novel Dreams of April Ten, a finalist in the Eppie Awards this year for best Thriller. My new non-fiction book, Hypnosis in Healthcare is due out from New Age Dimensions Publishing in November and if it is available, I'll have it with me as well. Steve
