Print Test

Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there. That said, I received my print test copy of Hypnosis In Healthcare yesterday, and boy is it a peach! Thanks to Jinger at Whiskey Creek Press for a really terrific cover, that girl is a real keeper--and to Marsha for a really wonderful job of editing! It does take more than writing to make a great book, you know. It takes cover artists, editors, proof-readers, printers, publishers, more editors, more proof readers, all working together to get the job done. And this time, the job was done superbly. However, I can come up with nothing but praise for the folks at Whiskey Creek Press when it comes to a final product. They really do a wonderful job. Now I have to read it for a final time and find any errors that need printing before the final draft of the print copy is set in stone. I'll be busy for the next couple of days doing that. See you then. Steve

Great News!

Three pieces of good news go together to make great news in my book. First, my thriller, Dreams of April Ten has a new cover, just released. Here it is:
I think it suits the story much better than the old cover art did. Secondly, my hypnotherapy handbook, Hypnosis in Healthcare will be released by Whiskey Creek Press in July. It will be available in both ebook and trade paperback formats. And thirdly, I signed contracts today with Mundania Press on two books: The Last Guardian, a science fantasy adventure, and Dark Moon, a horror tale of the Lupe Garou running around New Orleans killing people right and left. It was written with Canadian author Beverley Bateman and it's a good thing, too, because part of the book takes place in Canada. We wrote it together although we've never met. Ain't the internet a wonderful thing? Anyway, exciting times lie ahead for both writers and readers. Especially now that Sony is bringing out a new ebook reader this summer and people are reading ebooks on their cell phones. Ebooks are the fastest growing market in publishing. Also, many publishers are beginning to bring books out in audio format so who knows, you may be reading my books by ear one day soon. That's it for now, keep dreaming. Steve
