In the midst of packing my Tux in preparation for the Eppie Awards, a brilliant idea came to me. Remember back in the '70s when everyone was predicting a new ice age as a result of global cooling? Also remember that about that time there was a lot of talk of Nuclear Winter resulting from Atomic Bombs going off. Well I have put that together and come up with a cure for Global Warming. All we have to do is drop the ban on above ground nuclear testing--the ban apparently stopped the global cooling and ushered in global warming--and set off a few atomic bombs. This will offset the global warming with global cooling and everything will revert to normal. Or, if we don't want or need to conduct above ground nuclear tests, all we have to do is wait for the Iranians or North Koreans to do their testing and that will result in an end to global warming. If you are in to waiting, try this one on: Global warming is supposed to be caused by burning carbon based fuels, predominantly oil based products. We are also supposed to be running out of oil. So all we have to do is nothing different until the oil is gone, and the problem will cure itself. See you at the Eppie Awards, Steve
