A Cool Reception
Talk about a cool reception. The temperature here at Virginia Beach where I await the Eppie Awards has been below freezing much of the time with strong winds blowing. The hotel has wired internet connections in the rooms (not wireless) and the restaurant has been closed since I arrived. I don't know about the bar. Otherwise it has been terrific here. The view from the room is fantastic, the service is wonderful at the hotel, and the people of Virginia Beach are very friendly. The food is great if you don't mind leaving the hotel in the cold wind to find some. However, I'm enjoying my stay very much. I have also agreed to accept the award for Darrel Bain if he wins since he cannot be here to accept it in person. Darrell is the only person I know who actually makes a living writing fiction. I hope to catch up with him someday. Steve

You're right. It was downright chilly in Virginia Beach. I just wanted to drop in on your blog and wave at ya.
If you've been following the Epic lists, you know that I'm running a contest for my bloggers. I'm putting clues on my blog, and they're trying to find the other epic authors that I'm blog commenting on. So, hopefully, my clever readers will come looking for your blog.
