Half-naked Princess Rescued by Idiot! Excerpt from Last Guardian

From the book: The Last Guardian, published by Mundania Press and available from their website, Amazon.com, and other sources of good books.
In the Palace Darkhold, one of the slaves continued to fan Princess Lyssa while the other dried her magnificent blue body with a soft towel. There wasn’t much that surprised the two anymore. They were even getting used to seeing the Princess parading around literally half-naked. But when a skinny little runt in a metallic jump suit stepped out of the air beside the pool, said “I’m here to save you,” and fell into the fountain, it got their attention.
Sunny splashed about in the chest-deep, scented foam, coughing and gasping until the slaves jumped in and dragged him out. When he was able to breathe again, one of them spoke and the token translated. “You’re going to save us?”
“Gods of Pelu,” the other laughed. “He can’t even save himself!”
Sunny coughed some more, then explained that he had really come for the Princess, but since they were there, he would take the slaves as well.
“Who are you?” Lyssa asked, letting her skincloth reattach itself to her right half. “You look familiar.”
“We’ve no time to talk now,” he said. “The Gate is still open, but will soon drift away. We must go now or not at all.”
Startled by the sound of approaching feet in the adjoining room, Sunny dropped the token as he crossed in front of the doorway. He bent to retrieve it just as a guard stormed through the curtains. The devilman stumbled over Sunny, lost his balance and staggered across the room into the two frantic slaves. All three of them tumbled into the pool. Sunny picked up the token, rudely grabbed the Princess by her forbidden hand and dashed for the open Gate.
“I’ll come back for you,” he called to the slaves as he and a very angry blue Princess vanished.
